a) meetings aimed at enriching our knowledge about the countries-members
of EU by making the presentations of their history, geography,
education, customs, cultural and political life;
b) working out educational material about each country, displayed
on the European Club Information Board ;
c) making posters depicting the main aspects of cultural life
and tourist attractions of the particular European country;
d) arranging European Parties (Greek, Italian, French) devoted
to listening to music, dancing and tasting foreign cuisine (
the members of the club prepare national dishes themselves);
e) organizing quizzes in English about each European country;
f) attending workshops focused on European integration, organized
by school teachers and local representatives of European Institutions;
g) participating in many contests and Olympiads about European
Union and Integration;
h) issuing a Supplement to our school newspaper covering info.
about European integration and EU countries (plus guesses, crosswords);
i) exchanging experience and opinions with other European Clubs
in Poland;
j) taking part in events organized by various European institutions,
e.g. Centre of European Information in Warsaw and Rzeszow, Foundation
? International Centre of Education and Development
k) broadcasting radio programmes on various occasions e.g.
to celebrate Day of European Union;
l) making a chronicle of club activities with the photos of
the most important events.
